  1. I came across your blog, and as a fitness trainer located in San Juan, Puerto Rico, I want to invIte you to workout with us on the beach. I commend you for your action, and your declaration for the entire world to see you pursue your goal of getting into shape. I have a couple of tips for you as well:
    1. Many kettlebell (KB) movements (swings, snatch, push press, etc) are explosive with power generated thru your hips. Keep your abs and core tight and focus on squeezing your butt at the top of your hip extension. The movement is violent. For lack of a better way of stating it, it is a violent hump.
    2. With one handed KB movments, your free hand should not be rested on your hip/ side/ waist. you will engage your core better if you use it to stabilize yourself in one handed movements, not your free hand. Keep your arm out to the side in almost a half of a T position.
    3. Go heavier. The easiest way to lose fat is to build fat. As you build muscle, you body becomes a bigger "engine" to burn more calories more efficiently.
    4. Forget curls. Work compound and complex movements such as squat-presses, sumo deadlift- highpulls, or manmakers. Do a youtube video on those exercises and also, Sealfit Manmakers and the Bear Complex for example.
    5. Keep working hard. There is no replacement for determination and hard work.

Good luck with your goals! And please don't hesitate to contact me to workout here in San Juan!
